Joe Marinan, he’s the Mega Bingo Boss whose face you’ve seen on TV on numerous occasions. His recent appearance didn’t have to do with the popular game, it had to do with allegations of sexual harassment made by one of the former hosts of the game, Rachel Armstrong. Armstrong is the niece of Alfred Schakron, who has majority shares in MegaBingo. Rumors spread like wildfire today that he was leaving town for good. We couldn’t confirm whether this is so, but we can tell you tonight that his company, JD Financial, is currently building a new set for the game, which broadcasts live from our studios here at Channel Five every Wednesday and Saturday night.
Good decision Joe. You are a foreigner in a foreign land of injustice, corruption and bigotry.
Yeah, for all those who was crucifying the girl, here’s the proof that she was probably telling the truth. Innocent people don’t run away but the guilty ones does. HCan’t wait for the comments tomorrow.
Because he ran does not mean he is innocent Corf. Here is a man that FEARED for his life in a city filled with murder, injustice and criminals. Anyone that is threatened on a daily basis would run away knowing how easy it is to kill anyone and get away with it here in Belize. Something did seem shady about that girl but i wont judge to say if he or she was right. However its a pity that investors have to be chased away..they should direct their businesses to the outer districts other than the city and many are doing.
He was the same one that said bravely that he’s not going nowhere. Maybe he ran because they do have proof that he was sexually harassing these people. Is it because they are women that you all find it so hard to believe? I bet you wouldn’t see it that way if it was your family members and yes you are judging her because she not one of your own . I’m sure he’s not the only foreign investor that does that to our Belizean women but sexual harassment charges is unheard of in Belize, so for many, it didn’t happen. Keep taking the sides of these guys and eventually,they will graduate to bigger things when they see that no one believes these women. When they get raped, oh they looked shady so it didn’t happen. …real nice.
Its a well known game in Belize for Belizeans to get involve in business with foreignors and when they see that things are going well envy show its ugly head. This man would be a fool to stay around after seen his vehicle burnt. WHAT A FRIGGING BUNCH? The country is no better off than Haite with its bunch of Vudoo confused homosapians.
My family and I love playing Mega Bingo together and its so much fun, therefore, its such a pity that something as positive as this has to go to waste. I am growing to HATE Belize mien cause theres so much idle mind in the streets. I was saddened when I heard of the commotion with the incidents of Joe’s vehicle and alleged threats against his life……..its soooo sad mien. I sit and wondered how come something that is sooo good and refreshing could never be long lasting in Belize. What a shame mien. I cant give account of the sexual harassment because Im a female and I wouldnt want that for myself but that young lady should be brought up for justice in the court for theft. Joe on the other hand need to be charged for sexual harassment if found guilty of that crime.
