U.S. Sex offender questioned for murder of Lebanese national

Police are questioning a US sex offender, David McLain from Oklahoma, in connection with last week’s murder in Orange Walk of a Lebanese born artist Isis Nassar. She was killed at her home in Orange Walk on March twenty-fourth. Her throat had been cut and there were bruises on her hands. At the time of her murder, Nassar who also carries a British passport, was teaching workshops at the Banquitas House of Culture in Orange Walk Town.
Why is a U.S. sex offender still in Belize?..don’t they usually expel these guys from the country?..Only in Belize.

I personally believe that foreign nationals should go through a vigorous screening in order to obtain visas and even more so naturalization .
They should go through the same process Belizeans go through when we want to obtain visas or naturalization process in other countries.
We have to submit to HIV, TB, and a whole heap of tests and we have to be screened by interpol.
The G8 countries have strict immigration policies.
They say they have enough AIDS, TB, and especially hoodlums so they can’t afford to import any foreigners who fall under any of these categories.
It disgusts me every time I tune into the news and see foreigners raping our resources and especially our native people.
No way these child molesters should be surfacing in Belize.
Especially now that many Belizean adult males it seems can’t satisfy an adult female and have been indulging in sick sexual acts with little girls and even more bother some little boys.
Come on my people a lot of us are turning the JEWEL into a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah.
If we don’t change our vileness then we can expect the same fate as the aforementioned.
Come bow our heads, close our eyes and pray to GOD: for ourselves, our love ones, our enemies, those we don’t know , Belize and the rest of the world.

When are the vigilantes going to form a group to deal with these douchebags before they can be deported. Skin him alive and feed him to the alligators at the Belize Zoo then do the same to all the politicians from both political regimes. AND I MEAN EVERY WORD THAT I WRITE!!! WHO BEX, BEX!!!
He shouldn’t be sent back to the US. He’s a murder suspect, and should be dealt with over her, and if found guilty, spend the rest of his days in jail. If he goes to the US, he’ll only be facing the sexual assault charge, and will have a misemeanor charge thrown at him for leaving the country. 5 years – maximum, by the time his defence lawyers are through. Levae him here to face the music, and may he rot in jail!!!
I settled in Belize after 24 years in the British Army & 3 tours in Belize. I fell in love with Belize during my first tour in the 80’s, and fell in love with my (now) wife during the last tour. My kids are born & bred Belizeans, and this is my home. I obtt=ained Permanent Residence Status after 12 months of extending my stay, then going through the full application process, including a Police Record, proof of accomodation, HIV test and full medical etc. as well as providing copies of my kids Birth Certificates (My Wife & I married a year after I had done this). and paying nearly $1300.00. I did everything by the book.
The trouble is that these ‘Nonces’ (Sex offenders) slip out of the US, are allowed into Belize (Maybe because they are assumed to have money) and carry out their evil deeds. Once a Nonce, always a Nonce, and the more offences that tehy carry out, the more desparate they get not to get caught. Eventually they kill their victims. Sometimes it’s just the one before they get caught, but as you see on the news throughout the world, often many more.
They enter Belize, and there is no follow up. Just a 30 day stamp in the Passport, and that gets extended for $50-$100.00 without background checks on them – Why do they want to extend their stay? Where are they living? What is their source of Income? Are they working? Any of these questions, if asked could prevent their offending. Background checks with the FBI or Interpol would expose them. But sadly this isn’t done, and the only time they are exposed is when a victim is molested, raped or killed.
The assumption then is that all white male visitiors to Belize who choose to stay are fugitives, and I pray that I don’t get the sh*t kicked out of me by a vigilante, who like me, is tired of seeing these Nonces in my home country!
Instead of ALL our politicians behaving like idiots who seem uneducated and uncivilized they should be looking at how to stop the crime in the country. WORK TOGETHER for the BENEFIT of Belize and ITS PEOPLE!!!! I am sure there is a link on sex offenders sites that cite Belize as a haven for their sick needs!!!! How many have turned up in Belize? TOO MANY!!!! Will they do anything about this sex offender in the country. I PLEAD WITH ORANGEWALKENOS TO ENSURE HE IS TAKEN OUT OF O.W.!!!! Protect our children!!! Can someone please rent a house for him beside our ministers of government? You will see how fast he will be sent out of the country!!!! The man arrested for her murder is a Belizean – 45 year old Mark Anthony Diaz – a construction worker of Roaring Creek Village was formally arrested and charged for the murder of 54 year old Isis Nassar on April 1st …
