“Well Jose, we are investigating all murders. It is just that in these two murders, the witnesses came forward. We had the persons detained. Like I explained to you, the first murder of Miss Chen on King Street, we apprehended—our Gang Suppression Unit apprehended a group of young men. Based on the description that we were given, we realized that the accused murderer or the person accused of committing the murder was a part of that group and the weapon that we found in their possession is believed to have been used in that crime.”

“Jose, we are questioning a lot of people in connection with all four murders. We are trying, we are appealing, we are asking the public; to please—somebody out there that may have that little key piece of information that could help us bring some closure to these victims family—please come forward. I know that the Prime Minister mentioned that we are making new levels to try and assure and protect our witnesses. And we are asking please just come forward and help us. The only way we can solve these crimes is with the assistance of the public.”
