Neal’s Pen Road resident competes with traffic department licensing
A Neal’s Pen Road resident is suspected of running an illegal driver’s license operation inside his apartment. The police Gang Suppression Unit closed in on thirty-three year old Rayford Benguche at around on two o’clock on Sunday afternoon. In a search of his apartment, they recovered a rubber stamp and ink pad, which is property of the Belize Traffic Department, laminating materials, a scanner and a forged license in the name of Henry Velasquez. Benguche was arraigned in Magistrates Court today for Preparing to Commit a Crime, a charge that he pleaded not guilty to. He was released on bail of three thousand dollars and is to return to court on June sixteenth.
