Heritage Bank robbers netted about $200,000
On Tuesday we reported that armed gunmen held up a local branch of Heritage Bank in Orange Walk Town. While the actual figure the heist netted has not been disclosed, word to News Five is that the thieves got away with an amount in the range of two hundred thousand dollars. Shortly after one o’clock in the afternoon two dark complexion men dressed in black clothing entered the premises located on the Belize/Corozal Road where one of them requested to speak with the loans officer. The other robber reportedly stood beside an on-duty K.B.H. officer at the entrance of the building. The manager further reported to police that one of the robbers was escorted inside her office where at gunpoint she was instructed to hand over the keys to the bank’s vault. The robber then gathered the sum of money and other personal belongings while his accomplice handcuffed both the manager and the security guard before making good their escape. Orange Walk police have since detained one suspect pending questioning but have not ruled out that the robbery may have been the result of an inside job.
no surprize again as all the criminals in the country know what a weak and impotent and useless pm and gov. we have this will all continue now its become just a free for all pitiful pitiful pm and gov.

What the hell does this have to do with the PM and GOB. A little off topic don’t you think? Typical hypocrites finding a way to blame the GOB for a bank robbery. Come on people. We should be thankful that no innocent people were killed or hurt in this robbery.

Like what do it right said, what the hell does this have to do with PM and gov? If ur gonna refer to bring back capital punishment to make an example of one or three criminals then involve pm meanwhile look at it that what the hell does the bank have security for if they are not equipped or apt to do the work?
