Customs and Excise Exhibit burglarized of contraband
A burglary at the Customs and Excise Exhibit Room in Belize City was reported earlier this week. Eight thousand dollars worth of exhibit items were stolen. Today, Rondale Bailey, a Custom’s Security Guard was charged with one count of burglary for allegedly stealing an assortment of whisky, rum, cognac, vodka, electric equipment and perfumes. Abimael Sanchez, the exhibit keeper, reported to police that between April fourth and fifth, the building was broken into. Glass louvers were removed from a double window facing the Western direction of the building. On Tuesday of this week, police searched a small storeroom at Bailey’s home where they found close to three thousand dollars of the alleged stolen goods. When he appeared in court this morning, Bailey pleaded not guilty to burglary but guilty to handling stolen goods. Magistrate Aretha Ford accepted his guilty plea but reserved sentencing and since the police will pursue the burglary against Bailey the penalty for handling will be determined at that time. The court prosecutor Sergeant Shawn objected to bail but Bailey told the court that his family needs him and that he made a mistake. The Magistrate, however, remanded him to the Belize Central Prison until June first.
Mr. Bailey …………..looks like you had a big party…….NOW IT’S TIME TO PAY FOR IT!!!
Dumb crook. You steal from the place you are hired to protect and then take the stolen goods to your house. Short term gain for long term loss, how stupid can you be. Remember a slow ten cent is better than a hasty one. I guess you are finding that out.

Customs are the ones who should be charged for stealing everyday from people
Tell you bout greedy mein! How stupid can you really be? No wonder you a custom officer!
You made a mistake too bad Mr Bailey.Maybe you should have thought about that prior to making a petty shop with those stolen goods inside your home.
