Murder at Fish Market; George Street’s Avondale Fuller gunned down

A well known associate of the George Street gang has been gunned down this evening by the Vernon Street Fish Market. Avondale Fuller, also known as Hagbone, was shot and killed and according to reports, by a barrage of bullets. Fuller is by trade, a fisherman of sixty six West Street. But his reputation from George Street was what many believe caused a major shoot-out that sent fishermen, and market goers running for cover. News Five was on the scene and at least nine expended shells had been located. Police Press Officer Fitzroy Yearwood told News Five about their findings so far.

“Another shooting incident occurred in Belize City that claimed the life of Avondale Fuller Trumbach. This happened sometime around four-thirty-four in the Conchshell Bay Area. I know that Mister Fuller was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to the injuries. He received multiple gunshots to the body. I know we have investigators presently on the scene canvassing the area and we are hoping—this is a broad daylight killing—we are hoping that we have witnesses that may come forward and assist us in this yet another murder investigation.”

“Looking at the crime scene, we can see at least nine slugs, expended shells on the ground. You see about six holes in the back of a vehicle. Was that black vehicle his?”

“Well I cannot say whose vehicle it was. All I know is that he was ambushed and received several gunshot wounds.”

“There is also a vehicle that’s crashed into a lamppost. It looks like the lamppost is falling over. Was this a chase?”

“It wasn’t a chase. From what we understand so far is that when Fuller was killed, a vehicle end up slamming into another vehicle that end up slamming into a lamppost. Like I said, it’s too early to comment on all that so let’s just take this investigation one step at a time.”
Evondale Fuller celebrated his twenty ninth birthday on April Fourth. There were reports that a child was injured during the ruckus. Apparently the child was knocked down by a vehicle during the shooting. Doctors, however, have confirmed that there were no fractures to his leg. We’ll have more on this on Wednesday’s newscast.

Truth i really feel your concern but what will marching do? The government cant do anything more than hold press conferences with his top police leaders to say they will put more police in the hot areas, conduct raides and stiffer penalties. From where I’m standing it looks like the police are just sitting back waiting until all the gunmen and gang members kill out each other. Unfortunately, we the innocent bystanders are between and around these targets and it’s not because we want to but most of the time it is “wrong place, wrong time.” God help us all!!!

I don’t want God to sort it out, I want our courts to work, I want these spawns convicted & I want them put to sleep & I am willing to chip in for bullets if we choose to go with a firing squad, rope or a guillotine if we go with my personal preferences or take up a collection for an electric chair . I have several generations of my family still living on the south side of Belize City & almost all of them are productive. Since we know who the villains are, ROUND THEM UP. With each passing day and with the faceyness of each violent crime, the suggestion that Crazy Glue made when this callousness was not even out of control as it is today, don’t sound so crazy after all.
His solution was to take all the known gang members to an isolated location, give each one a gun and enough ammunition and let them settle their differences once and for all.

On October 22nd. we told you about Marcos Swazo a 10 year old who was shot in the foot while on his way home from playing basketball at 7:00 pm.
Now police say they have the man who did it. He is Twenty eight year old Avondale Fuller Trumback – known as Hogbone – and the odd part is the man he was allegedly targeting is nicknamed “Ham”.
Porcine references aside, Trumbach was charged with 2 counts of attempted murder when he appeared today in Magistrate’s Court.
He was also charged with 2 counts of use of deadly means of harm, grievous harm and wounding.
No plea was taken from him because the offences are indictable. Chief Magistrate Margaret Mckenzie explained to him that the court cannot offer him bail because of the nature of the offences she remanded him into custody until December 7th. The incident occurred around 7pm on Thursday, October 21 on Antelope Street Extension.
Police reports are that shots were fired from a van and 27 year old Michael – Ham – Young , the intended target, and a boy who is a primary school student, were shot. Two other boys were grazed by the bullets.
