What happens in Cancun stays in Cancun; unless you have guns and ammunition

Three men and a woman believed to be linked to the ruthless Los Pelones cartel have been arrested in Cancun and according to the Mexican media; two of the suspects are Belizeans. On Thursday afternoon, the Mexican Police received an anonymous tip that a group of suspicious persons were at a house in the area called Region 208 in Cancun. During a raid police found an arsenal of high powered weapons including a point thirty-eight caliber pistol along with two magazines and corresponding cartridges, a nine millimeter pistol and cartridges as well as thirty rounds of seven point six-two caliber ammunition, which are used in the high powered AK-47 assault rifles. The Belizeans arrested are twin brothers, twenty-four year olds Wilton Osvaldo and Walter Antonio Lopez. They were detained along with twenty-eight year old Ana Isabel Rodriguez Zetina from Tabasco and twenty-two year old Moisés Martínez Sánchez from Yucatan. The Lopez brothers initially told the authorities that they were forced to work as drug handlers for the cartel after their mother and younger sister had been abducted. But police later discovered photos of them posing with an AK-47 rifle at the same house where they were arrested. It also reported that the four detainees admitted to being affiliated with Los Pelones and said they had been operating at the safe house for about ten days. According to the Mexican report, there were five others at the house, but they escaped in a Volkswagen Jetta car. Another house in region 233 was also searched because it is believed to have been the previous operating base of the group. Meanwhile, the four detained persons were taken before a federal judge on Friday to face charges for Possession of Firearms.

Mexico needs to take desperate measures to survive. Declare martial law, and GO TO WAR against the cartels. Just attack them, kill them and destroy their property. Don’t worry about trials until the crisis is ended and the cartels defeated.

It won’t be pretty to win, but losing to the cartels will be MUCH uglier, for Mexico, and Belize, too. If Mexico fails, Belize cannot last much longer as a functioning nation.

I hope they will keep them right there in Mexico for a very very long time because if they get deported to Belize,…well you know what i’m getting at. We really don’t need more of those on the streets of Belize. keep them right there please.

Affiliates of Los Pelones arrested along with two Belizeans occupations “drug handlers”. Perhaps we should just let the Mexican authorities or the drug cartel members have their way with these two idiots. I wouldn’t mean a thing to me if I read in the headline that they got their heads blown off.
How many jobs did they commit in Belize and Mexico before this bust? Me think the cartel will be coming to Belize if these idiots only get deported.

What’s wrong with my Belizean people?

  5. HANZ says:

the funny thing is that if they did not say that the twins were Belizean I would have immediately known that atleast the one sagging his shorts is the belizean. these boys are gonna spend a long time in mexico because mexico is not belize where u spend a little break in kolbe and come out b4 you start missing freedom.

  6. Josie says:

Eliminate the belizeans so they do not go back to Belize and add to the mess that is there

  7. Disgusted! says:

I can only hope they give up the rest of the gang and become informants for the authorities so that the entire ring ends up in jail……..before they get sentenced to 100 years of hard labour!!!

  8. Swamp Dragon says:

Mexico needs help. They need their big brother up north to help them. The US needs to stop it’s wars in the mid east and help the people in their own neighborhood. These guys should be locked up for 20 years! No parole. Belize should charge the brothers if they ever make it back home. Charge them the same as if they committed the crime in Belize. I am sure Mexico will have plenty proof to convict them.

  9. BZNinCALI says:

Let the Mexican authorities deal with them. After they have served their time, they may never want to see the inside of another jail, if they survive. I hope our Government does not waste its time negotiating for their release or do a prisoner exchange.

  10. belizeanpride says:

best part of it is that there will be no dickie bradley to the rescue of these scumbags in mexico. so they have to take the time accordindly not like in kolbe where they eat and rest like a resort instead of a prison. leave them there so they can regret every minute that they are locked up abroad.
