Joint security force operation nets gun, ammunition and drugs
With the murder count at a new high, this morning the police carried out a four hour joint operation in key well known crime ‘hot spots’ including Pregnant Alley, Wagner’s Lane, Plues Street and East Canal. The Gang Suppression Unit joined up with other Police Units and the Belize Defence Force and the anti-crime operation led to numerous arrests. Twenty-nine year old Stephanie Lozano was arrested for a small amount of crack cocaine while in another search police found six point eight grams of cannabis for which twenty nine year old Ann Bradley was charged for “Possession of Controlled Drugs”. On East Canal, police detained thirty six year old Sheldon Young, sixty eight year old Millan Sylvester, forty year old Jeffrey Robert Smith and two minors following the discovery of a nine millimeter pistol with nineteen rounds of ammunition and an extended magazine. The operations also busted what’s believed to be a drug business when they arrested twenty-six year old Burton Richard Garoy and charged him with the ‘possession of controlled drugs and ‘drug trafficking’ for eight point eight grams of cannabis and two point two grams of cocaine. Also arrested during this search was twenty year old Felecia Elizabeth Lopez who was also charged for “drug trafficking’. Police also found over five hundred dollars believed to be the proceeds of the sale of drugs.
Keep up the pressure….
Give these guys a prize wow .
Hopefully this will not end up like the charade and travesty of “raindrops” justice???
Seems like quite a bit of women involved in illegal activities around the city, is this the reason why no pictures are being displayed Stephanie Lozano, Ann Bradley, Felecia Elizabeth Lopez almost 50% of those arrest were women common channel 5 lets be an equal opportunity employer if women are also a serious issue in the criminal activities around Belize we need to know about it, let’s not hide the pictures of these women after all we know that the men that are committing a lot of these crimes have women in their homes and their lives and should somewhat be partially responsible for these crimes even if it is for not reporting what they know about the crimes and to the gang suppression unit you guys seems to be doing OK but if you are not able to take lots of guns off the street I mean piles of guns you cannot consider your operation a success, I would like to see a picture taken of these guns in one big pile that keep getting larger as you guys confiscate them. Remember, My Legacy B 4 My People.
Yes, Yes, Yes! This gang unit operation needs to continue. Keep the THUGS on their toes…
Removing (1) gun off the streets is a big deal in Belize City…
kudos..good job
Kudos.. Good Job..keep the pressuren heat on …. !!
Hell I thought the GSU meant Gang Suppression Unit. I don’t see them suppressing any gang members all they are doing is the jobs of the other police units. Let them start earning their salaries or change their names!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Black Widow…GSU seems like it stands for Ganga Supression Unit for that is all they are coming up with it seems. They need to go after the big guys. Sometimes I wonder if the police know who the big guys are and they are afraid to arrest them. Hmmm….
