Viewers believe in open court for minors charged with murder
We asked on earlier this week whether minors charged with murder should be tried in open court as adults. That question struck a chord with ninety percent of voters, who agree that such a serious crime warrants the same prosecution and punishment that an adult would face. Comments posted on our blog included that “The open court should serve as a deterrent to further crimes by setting an example” and “Certainly minors who are bold enough to commit murder should face the criminal court system openly and not be sheltered by age requirements and an array of cover.” But on the other side of the coin, ten percent of voters are against trying minors as adults. One commented that “No child should be tried as an adult. A child has rights and they should be respected even if he/she is a murderer.” Others raised concerns about possible effects on the minor if they are found not guilty after all the negative exposure.
Off course they should if they old enough fi pull the trigger then they should be old enough fi deal with the adult and get treated like one . your 16yr old kid is no different from my 21 yr old if the committe the same crime. And they are sure not worth more then the person they kill or committed the crime against.
Finding someone not guilty doesn’t mean that they didn’t committed a crime.
Thye are more adults in their devious way of thinking and should be tried. They know the law and use it to do their evil deeds. Stop prtecting these useless thugs and execute them to the full potentila of the law!
