Spontaneous combustion of vehicle at entrance to City

Shortly after three this afternoon, Egzine McFoy was driving on the Northern Highway in her Nissan Pathfinder, which she had just insured and licensed, when the vehicle began smoking. McFoy says she exited the vehicle but even the efforts of the fire station could not put out the blaze and the vehicle was completely destroyed.

“Ah just gone emmm pump up the wheel deh suh and ah just insure it and thing and gone fuh my license and thing and so on right. So I di come from the gas station fi go ker it round so fi make dehn test it and thing like that so when ah si some smoke like underneath ah the dashboard like. So I get to the side, park it and I get out and I see like smoke right. So I get over the passenger side and then I look underneath and then I see like some lee fire. So when I see the fire, I look around and I see wah man over so and I ask the man fi please call the fire department cause it look like the vehicle wah ketch fire. So the man seh ok but you get outta the way, no stand up deh so. Lee while after, the fire engine come, but it mi done engulf eena fiyah already.”

“No,  weh happen is I just change the  brakes compartment thing weh deh put in the fluid and suh inna  the whole ah that just change and put it een suh nothing neva mi di gi no trouble pahn it.”

McFoy says that the value of the vehicle is arout seven thousand dollars.
