17 year old detained for Cayo murder of 15 year old

On Tuesday night we told you about the murder of fifteen year old Albert Valdez of San Ignacio. Valdez was stabbed and cut to the throat on Sunday night between an alley off Eduardo Luna and Blue Bird Streets after he got into an argument with two friends. Valdez was able to make it to a neighboring house where a family transported him to the hospital but he died shortly after. 
Well tonight a seventeen year old minor who was detained by police following Valdez’s murder is at the Boot Camp after he was charged with murder late Tuesday evening. No plea was taken because the matter is indictable. Another minor, a sixteen year old who was also detained following the murder, has been released. The Valdez family believes Albert was killed over a bike that he sold to one of the minors who went to look for him at home that same Sunday evening. The family said that just prior to the murder, the boys were socializing and they are still in shock that he was killed.
The other minor has been released.I guess a plea bargin was worked out.However i am still of the opinion that both of these minors should have done some time so ther minors can learn from this situation.

AND……Upon conviction, send him to the SRC,…….4 LIFE!!!!…… because we can’t hang them.

To tell you people how tings are done here in belize: Two were detained on one day and on the other day 1 was released. on the day of the case the parents of the one released were boasting of how they were gonna pay for their son to get out of prison, and this mother was seen on the night of murder, washing his sons shirt that was full of blood. I ask myself how can a mother do this, i know that a mother is a mother but if you know your son did this den y cover him up, let him pay for wat he did, and yet on the day of the funeral she went to the house of the deceased to take a wreath. WHAT A SHAME. Then the family of the deceased found out that the boy that was released has already been sent out of the country. If he realy had notin to do with this den why escape.
and the stupid police that we have in our country too are so heartless. The family has so many witnesses that said that the boys earlier that day were boasting and laughing that they were gonna kill someone. But the police dindt take the statements from them beacause they were minors. of course the were minors beacuse Albert only hung out with friends of his age and even younger.
He was just the happiest Kid in the whole family, he was always runing jokes, got along with anyone, never said no to any favors asked. We just simply cant belive this tragedy happened.
All i can say is that justice will be served sooner or later.

Very surprising about the police but this is what is really happening in our country. The criminal always gets away. They charge them and the courts sets them free. Mr. Barrow you need to create a ministry in charge of investigation like what exists in other countries—– Public Ministry—-. The police are not sufficiently trained to do this. You need to have professionals to investigate crime. Imagine the police investigating the police. What the hell is this. That is why we have so much corruption in police department from top to bottom. Now this kid was killed by his friends. Why not sent special investigators to find the truth.
What a shame Damm cops how the heck they will let the other kid walk free what a pitty belize is not belize anymore these 2 kids should pay for what they did and then the kid left the country of course he has something to do with this y would he leave if he ain’t guilty they need to bring him back to belize for questioning but the parents must of paid the corrupted cops in belize am sorry to hear this kid of stuff happening RIP and the god lord ain’t sleeping this kid will pay for what he caused his family and friends..

to you A.V who says that the mother or the child being released, washed the shirt of her son, that is all crap because the police had the youngster’s clothing and guess what it was not soaking wet, nor do we have that fast dry cleaning service in san ignacio. The reason why he was released was because the other minor confessed that he was the one who did everything, and that the other boy tried to stop him from what he was doing but he treathed to kill him as well, so he just ran for his life as well. The boy has not gone any where, you people are just buying crap “heary so”, you should really find out wat is going on before commenting. it is hard to lose someone, but why pay for someting not done. He has not escape because he has no reason to do so. eventhough the deceased family members have made threats, but the Good Lord knows better. Family members could not pay because they dont have that type of money, once again, all crap, y not wait for the first court hearing to know exactly what happened instead of everyone making up stories and commenting senseless.
i am not here to justify anyone but i hate when people just comment with out knowing what really happened. I wonder who come out with the story that he has left the country, and this is what happens you all comment based on what you hear, comment smart. dont make fools of yourselves,. Every one saw when he went to pick up the boy. every one knew he was a very humble boy parent to his brother and sisters and the other guy on the loose needs to pay. its two wounds and the one that killed him is the one to his heart.! and the guy is not in the country and the ones getting the treat is the deceased mother and she has the treats on her phone.!
HANG them they both participated in a crime. how comes he ran away well then he could have saved him stop inventing stuff. and you know the mother was washing the clothes of that same let loose criminal.!
its really sad to hear these tings happening in our community…. poor kid was just 15 he had his whole life ahead of him…. i cant imagine the pain his family is going tru its Christmas time… its jus realy sad…. the one who did has to pay…. he had no right to take the kids life away…. but this life is round n what u do in this life u will pay it and double…. so my condolence to the valdez family and the tears they are shedding today that boy who killed the kid will shed tomarow……
