    First of all if it was not for the pup our electricity rates would be much higher.remember it is this same udp that did not support the hydro dams.Barrow wants a other cash cow so he does not support SSB in the fresh catch deal because he already had plans for SSB to invest in BEL,wat a suprze

    So Fortis wanted a raise because it could not meet its dept obligation at the current rate. Now that the company has new owners it should go in the opposite direction? Incredible, just incredible. My answer is a big NO.

    The reason for take over was prompted by bills and more bills. Your question is premature. No way the rates can come down right – looking at it from a business point of view!!

    Pelican,, I agree with you. NO dont bring it down. If you bring it down then the taxpayers will have to pick up the tab. NO MORE TAXES, Let the electricity pay for itself…………………………………

    Electricity, water, internet & telephone should be FREE for everyone in Belize.
