New housekeeper equals missing jewelry for Castillo family
A woman who was working for a few days in the home of Wendy Castillo, the wife of well known P.U.P. supporter, Linsford Castillo, was tried in court today after her employer became a victim of a crime that left her one thousand four hundred and fifty dollars short of jewelry and a cell phone. On July first, Castillo reported to police that she retained the services of twenty one year old Crystal Ferguson, as a housekeeper. But by the end of the day, she was missing a gold chain, a pair of earrings and a cell phone. When she confronted Ferguson, she denied the allegations. Today in Belize City Magistrate’s Court, the housekeeper was charged with Theft. Ferguson, now an unemployed woman of Hattieville, was unrepresented when she appeared before magistrate Dorothy Flowers. She pleaded not guilty and bail was offered to her in the sum of two thousand dollars plus one surety of the same amount which she met by three thirty this afternoon. Ferguson is due back in Court on August twenty second. This is the second time that the Castillo family has been deprived of their personal belongings due to some sort of deception. In 2010, two neighbors of the Castillo’s were charged in court for burglarizing their home and stealing items valued over sixteen thousand dollars. That case of the two men is before the Court.

why bother reporting anything if it will take you years to even hear it in court while the person is free to go do it again sheesh
