2 more persons shot on Belize City Streets
On Monday night we told you about a number of shootings that occurred over the weekend. The shooting spree continued up to mid-day today leaving two people hospitalized. The first incident took place shortly before ten-thirty p.m. on Monday. Twenty-three year old Ryan Davis was standing in front of his home when he was approached by two men. One of the men pulled out a gun and fired a single shot at Davis, which caught him in the upper right side of his abdomen and exited through the right upper back. Police are looking for Jermaine Williams better known as “Heads” in connection with this incident. In the second incident, around mid-day today, Robert Batty was in front of Payless Shopping Center on Mahogany Street when a man rode up to him and fired several shots. Batty was hit in the right leg, right calve, and right foot. Both Batty and Davis remain at the KHMH in a stable condition.
WE NEED TO SEND THESE BELIZE CITY SHOOTERS TO THE WESTERN BORDER……….THERE THEY CAN ENJOY SHOOTING AND PROTECT OUR NATION at the same time.
Wow.
I was thinking of making Belize my new home but it’s beginning to sound like a violent place!
I live in USA, Florida right now.
I wish Belize was a safe place.
Belize is a safe place. Each country in the world has it’s share of high crime neighborhoods. All the other parts of the country is safe and peaceful. We all just need to understand each other and lean to live. I you need additionl info about Belize, contact myself or the Belize tourist board.
@ Randy……Belize is a big country…. I’m sure you can find a quiet place like the other US expats.
