Pizza delivery man identifies robber

A pizza deliveryman was lured into the Port Loyola area and robbed on October tenth, 2010. Today twenty-one year old Calvin Palma was convicted of Robbery and fined five thousand dollars when he appeared before Magistrate Emmerson Banner. The victim, thirty-two year old Pablo Coc of Peppers Pizza, testified that he was to make a delivery to a Malcom Street address, but was unable to find the house. Coc says that when he called the number provided with the order, the person identified himself only as “Alex” and told him to go to the corner of Trinity Street and Central American Boulevard. A man dressed in white was waiting for Coc at that location, but said they would have to go to Louise Bevans Street to get the money. The delivery man followed him, but the customer soon pulled out a nine millimeter firearm and ordered him to get off of his motorcycle. He was robbed of a small amount of cash, after which two other assailants arrived and took off with the motorcycle.  A few days later, Palma led police to a house where the bike was recovered. Coc positively identified his assailant in an identification parade.
