Recycling Facility robbery caught on camera
The Belize Recycling Company Limited was robbed on Tuesday afternoon. According to twenty-nine year old Lindy Hernandez, at one fifty p.m. a man wearing a white T-shirt, a three quarter pants and a white cap came to the business in order to sell scrap iron. But the business transaction was just his cover to commit the crime. The man who had his cap pulled down to hide his identity, pulled out a black handgun from his pants when he went to collect payment for the iron. He instructed Hernandez to lie on the floor while he took two hundred and fifty dollars from the cash register. He then stole five hundred and fifty dollars cash from the employee before he escaped. Although the surveillance camera recorded the entire incident and the public could have helped with identification of the suspect, the owner of the establishment told News Five that investigating officers advised him not to show the footage to the media.
The reason the police don’t want the public to see the footage is because they recognized the guy in that footage right away. And it’s someone they work with. How disgusting.
Why are weapons so easily accesable in Belize. It seems that it’s easier to get a gun in Belize than a pound of sugar.
Showing the footage to the media & to the public is the fastest & the best way to catch & convict those worthless criminals. That’s the way how a number of criminals are caught & convicted in the US. Either the police officers are not competent or retarded or they just wanted to prove to the world they can catch the criminals without any assistance.
that true that Elgin where are they gtting he gun?
