Neighbor charged for burglary
The Banak Street home of Shana Tillett was burglarized on August twenty-sixth and today her neighbor was charged for the crime. Over two thousand dollars in items were stolen, including an assortment of children’s clothing, a cell phone, jewelry and as well as ladies tennis shoes and jeans. The accused neighbor is thirty-two year old Sterling Alexander Williams who appeared before Magistrate Emerson Banner this morning. Williams was charged with a single count of burglary; he pleaded not guilty and was offered bail of five thousand, five hundred dollars. He was unable to meet bail and remains in custody. Williams’ next court date is set for October twelfth.
