Minister of Foreign Affairs turns down Rhett Fuller’s appeal of extradition

Rhett Fuller

It appears that Rhett Fuller is running out of options to keep him away from the long arms of the United States government. Fuller remains at the Central Prison where he has been on remand since he handed himself over to the authorities on august twenty-second. After hearing his case in Belmopan on September seventh and eighth, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wilfred Elrington, has turned down the appeal. Fuller was not present for the Minister’s decision given this morning in Belize City. He has, however, one more opportunity to apply for judicial review while he remains incarcerated. The US government has asked for his extradition in connection to a murder that took place in Florida in 1990 when Larry Miller was fatally shot.

He should’ve been extradited a long time ago. The guy is wanted for murder, if he is innocent then he will back. It seems that he is guilty seeing all the trouble he going through just not to stand trial. Belize is not a haven for criminals. If you did the crime then you have to do the time. If you are innocent then go stand trial and get your name cleared.
