Mega Bingo is the game for Lucky Player

On Wednesday night a housewife hit the one hundred and thirteen thousand and fifteen dollars Mega Bingo Progressive Jackpot. Today she headed to the Mega Bingo office to collect the winnings that she will use to complete construction of her house.  News Five spoke with an excited and surprised twenty-nine year old Sylvia Luna.

“I was sitting in bed playing Mega Bingo and at the same time I was texting one of my friends in PG and I had two numbers left on my paper and because of texting I miss when they called ball number forty eight and so awrite. I mi di wait pahn forty eight and the last number then the last number call, and I was like ‘maddas mien just one more I mi need, forty eight’ but when really watch pahn the tv and screen, I say ‘no forty eight done call’, like that. Suh I call mi common-law husband and I say ‘I win, I win, I win’ right? Suh I jump up on the bed and I jump straight down and I come outside and I gone hail my neighbor. I say ‘Ms Ruth I think I win this Mega Bingo yuh know’ and she was like ‘yuh serious? Hmm I nuh believe you at all’ I neva believe my self either. This morning when wi gone out me and mi husband have flu so before going to the hospital, I gone dah A-Wing where I buy the ticket and A-Wing was like ‘yes, yuh win, yuh win, yuh win’ because he’s our friend. Suh we gone dah hospital and here I am now.”

“Umm we have a house in Benque that we are building and it’s not really finished as yet so I guess some of the money will go to the house.”

“And the rest, you’re going to decide later on?”

Sylvia Luna

“Yes we’re going to decide later on what to do with the money.”

“Yes from since Mega Bingo started I start buying and one time I win five dollars from the instant until now.”

After taxes, Luna took home ninety-six thousand sixty-two dollars and seventy-five cents. Since August twenty-fourth Mega Bingo has paid out the Progressive Jackpot three times and has given out close to half a million dollars in total.
