F.F.B., Ministry and FIFA extend election date
Normally, the Football Federation of Belize (F.F.B.) and the Ministry of Sports send separate press releases giving updates on the state of the sport. But today the F.F.B., FIFA and the sport ministry sent out a joint release extending the deadline for the F.F.B. executive election which was initially expected to be held by December first. It has been agreed that the election of new executives must be done by December thirty-first. The reasons given cite that at the district level, members of the F.F.B. are still ratifying their own statutes before lower level elections are to take place. The additional month gives the F.F.B. executive an extra thirty days to prepare for the high level election.

IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEPARATE SPORTS and POLITICS………
Sports should be an ESCAPE FROM POLITICS.
Earl Grey you are certainly out of touch with the Belizean football situation. I can tell you that 95% or more of the people involve in football in Belize are extremely please that the government has step in to rectify the situation here.
