With the departure of Celine Gomez, a new Chief Executive Officer will take over the reins of the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry. BCCI announced today that its current Director of Member Relations, Kim Aikman, is being appointed as C.E.O. effective December first. Aikman has been the Director of Member Relations at the secretariat for the past four years and according to a release from the Chamber, she has greatly enhanced membership services. It is also notable that as the Chamber’s Labour representative, Aikman advocated for fair and favorable amendments to the Labour Act at the Tri Partite level.
