Majority of viewers would not vote for the current government in early elections

You’ve heard the Prime Minister say that you can expect general elections by the end of 2012. But on Tuesday we asked our viewers if they would vote for the current government if the election was held before its term expired in 2013. The results show that fifty-six percent of participants in our online poll would not vote for the U.D.P. government in early elections. The remaining forty-four percent said yes. The comments on our blog are a mixed bag; apart from the U.D.P. faithfuls, some persons said they would vote for the P.U.P. while others believe it’s time for a third party to take leadership.

If you want more of the same for four more years and I am talking about murders which if this gov. Wins again in the next five years that means that over one thousand more people will be killed if you vote udp. Perhaps you will be included in the one thousand people who will be killed if udp wins again so if you want murder and more murders vote udp.

  2. mosh says:

NO $#!%, no more UDP. GIve peace a chance!!

  3. Ryan says:

Seems only die hard PUPs watch channel 5 as the polling results will show…

  4. Rene Rodriguez says:

Neva again PUP. I can´t understand how people forget so fast what PUP did to us.
I would rather prefer VIP wins and not those PUP ………

  5. Yeah says:

PUP, UDP, PUDP they are all the same. Curruption will always exist in our country if laws are not enforce and new laws implemented. What do you prefer top be a well fed slave or a hungry free man? Why work when others can have for free. Government should stop powdering criminals with all sort of benefits they have. When some one goes to jail, they get fat because they have a good life there. Good meals and benefits. They should come out thin or malnourished, and dont have the mind to return to that place. Also the GSU should rough up the gangs or who have more power?? Who have more amunition??? Lets be real.. We need a change if the type of government, not the party.

  6. Positive says:

I think most people are forgetting how our citizens and the country got robbed with the PUP. Barrow is transparent, and is trying his best to keep his ministers from robbing and corruption. UDP All de way

  7. subKonshus says:

@ Ryan. I don’t know how you can say that only die hard PUP watch Channel 5 when out of the first 6 responses to this thread, 0% are in support of the PUP. Your argument holds no water Bro!

  8. CEO says:

All I read is the news on Channel-5 and I am no kinda “P”: UDP nor PUP! I am a Belizean who hopes for better leadership because not so long ago it was another government and the crime rate and other financial irregularities were rampant.

Barrow did not make crime he found the mess! I was hoping he would have done more to reduce the crime rate but don’t blame him for it.

There is really no good alternative and this is sad because the people will poerrish!

  9. huh says:
