Charges dropped against immigration officer

In the Magistrate Court this morning in Belmopan, extortion charges were dropped against an Immigration officer. Hermaine Tzib was charged in May of this year after a Lebanese businessman made a complaint that he had extorted over six hundred dollars from him. A preliminary inquiry was held in November and today, the court found that there is no evidence to proceed to trial at the Supreme Court. With that, Magistrate Adolph Lucas Junior dropped the charges against Tzib.

Only within the Immigration Department $#!% happens and you walk free…These people are linked to Human Smuggling, Extortionist, the have their hands stick to the Money…there are many reports on these type of corruption all across the lenght and breath of this COUNTRY…recently there is the allegation on SEXUAL HARASSMENT at the BWBS by four Immigration Officers of these two are females who are link to the allegation…its true that these things happen..but who cares about that…the Immigration Department has no form of Discipline or ethic to public integrity much less to protect our ports of entry on Terrorism or the proper screening of persons of interest entering in our country…in this Department as long as you have money you can enter and leave Belize anytime you WISH…it happens every day at the BWBS…who should these persons be reported too…not the main office in Belmopan because they themselves are spoiled/rotten potatoes…

Thank God that our legal system is still here to make justice. you know people will always try to have their way and most of the time they will go thru the extreme to get what they want without considering the effects this may have on peoples future take for instance what this man has done to the career of this officer. hope all works out in the officer’s favor keep up the hope Mr. Tzib
