Sedi puts mass registration into perspective
The mass naturalization that has been taking place prior to the upcoming elections has been widely opposed countrywide. But that hasn’t stopped the Immigration Department from processing and swearing-in over a thousand new Belizeans. This morning, the government went on the defensive and ministers were deployed to the media houses to out the fires. Minister of Foreign Affairs Wilfred ‘Sedi’ Elrington says he doesn’t watch television, but if he found out that there was any hanky panky he would support a commission of inquiry.

So I have not seen any but certainly I can tell you that if that is being done and if what is being done is improper, I think that there are procedures to deal with that and I think that the government should take steps to deal with it once it is brought to the attention of the relevant authorities.”

where is this man from, he claims he does not watch BELIZE Tv, that six thousand dollars a month is a pittance, and compares us to Singapore. Totally out of touch with BELIZE’s reality.

He did the very same thing about Government leasing land to our people to and compared this process with another country, The border line issue, and now complaining about meager wages he and the rest of idiots are receiving after being elected into office by the very same people they have all kicked in the rear. If they would have done excatly what they promised to stabelize our country’s economy to provide jobs etc. to our people, then maybe, the few that are begging them for assistance would not do so. There are many of us in Belize who does not have the previlige of having a measely $60.00 a month and will probably never get to see $6,000.00 in a lifetime with the nonsensical politricks and corruptions within both partys, if there’s no change anytime soon. Let me remind you Sedi, there’s nothing much one can buy in Belize with $6,000.00 a month, even if you give away $2,000.00 Offering to your Church, if you have one. Then again Wangla seed, maybe dih man wah move to Singapore, mi noh know!!!.
Wangla seed, you need to understand that Sedi is probably one of the wealthiest Attorneys in Belize, presiding over one of the elite Law firms in the nation. This man is a multi-millionaire in his own right.To you and me, six grand might be a lot of money, but not to Sedi. Indeed, to him, six thousand dollars is mere pittance. Mere pittance my man.
SEDI….YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT THE “ARTIFICIAL” BORDERS that we have around our country….let’s see how that plays out.

Sedi, we pay you to run our affairs, how can you do it if you dont even find the time to know what is happening in your own backyard?? If 6000/month not enough for you and your party, then get out and let someone that has the country at heart take over.
Television is not the only way to get information my people. He did not say he does not know what is going on; he said he has not seen the footage (video in other words). He prefers to read more of us should do just this to expand our minds!
