U.D.P. PG Town Council dumps Muschamp
Even before the date of the general elections was made official, there has been an election frenzy at the municipal level. In the south, U.D.P., incumbent Councilor, Orlando Muschamp was dumped from the municipal slate on Monday. Mayor Floyd Lino, who appeared on Open Your Eyes this morning, said that the dispute had been going on for weeks. Carlo Wagner has been appointed to the U.D.P. Punta Gorda slate. Lino says that Muschamp wasn’t rallying with the team as was expected.
Mayor Floyd Lino, PG Town Council (U.D.P.)
“Mr. Muschamp is currently a councilor with us; the fact of the matters is that he has not been a team player. We have asked him to come to meetings and he choose not come. The central Chairman, Honorable Patrick Faber been to PG Friday gone and we invited him to the meeting so that he can be heard and he has chosen to not come. It is the opinion of our party that if we have a candidate who refuse to attend campaign meetings, who refuse to be a team player, who refuse to come out with the team then may as well, we shift up and replace and in the case of Mr. Muschamp, we were not able to get him to go out with the team to campaign or to come to any of our meetings.”
Good riddance ….but you should have got some one more qualify …
