As we said, we caught up with businessman Martin Galvez, when he addressed an audience of party supporters at Independence Hall. Galvez, the proprietor of Royal Wholesale, is a last-minute addition to the roster succeeding Yolanda Schakron. At the launch of the P.U.P. City Council manifesto today, he publicly declared that he won’t be haunted by dual citizenship. Schakron pledged to the residents of the constituency that she will be supporting the efforts of her brother to deliver a victory for the P.U.P. and that now their opponents will have double trouble.

Is martin a born Belizean or a born guat also? we need to know in advance before another boomshell disrupts this PUP and end up things upside down. it might be the case why cordel’s committee are stepping down, where’s the unity something doesn’t match but is ringing the bell.
It could be that the committee did not necessarily agree with first Shackron and now her brother while passing up a loyal PUP like Carlos Diaz who delivered that area in 3 previous elections. All speculation on my end not sure…

Actually, Alley Cat, the commitee of Lake I would have refuse to support Diaz even quicker. If you do not know Cordel won Diaz commitee members who were poor and suffering under him. It was Cordel who help these people and made their live much better. Who fight for them to get a shelter and job.
