Also in court, an arraignment for a sexual offense today landed a Belize City resident in prison and his mother in the hospital. Twenty year old Alrick August was charged with two counts of Carnal Knowledge following a report by a fourteen year old minor, who claims they had a sex in December 2010 and in January of this year. Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer did not take a plea on the matter and August, who was represented by Attorney Bryan Neal, was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until April thirteenth. August’s mother, who stayed outside the court during the arraignment, was overwhelmed by the news and started having difficulties breathing and shortly after eleven o’clock, BERT personnel had to rush her to the hospital as she appeared to be losing consciousness.

alrick was wrongfully charge and was not the cause of his mother getting ill. it was the fact that her son was going to be remanded for a crime he did not commit.
Whatever the case may be, it is wrong and if it is not him justice will be served. MY POINT IS THAT AS A PARENT THAT I AM, I HAVE BEEN VERY CLOSE TO MY BOY AND MY GIRL. I’m always suspicious of their actions and always top of things with them. I hug them and tell them nobody will vever love them out there, even if things are hard here at home, things are worst out there. There is no love out there, people do not give gifts for giving sake. They want something in return as time goes by. Parents need to have a closer relation with their neighbours and most all their own kids. Let’s be vigilant on our kids, lets protect them, find out who their so called friends are. Check what kind of life their friends parents live and make your assessment and always be advising. That is what we can do, parents we will be until we die. IT IS ROUGH OUT HERE FOR OUR LITTLE GIRLS AND BOYS WITH THESE SEX PREDATORS ALONG THE STREET SIDE. Even big women passing beside a group of those punks, they show no respect even if the woman is walking with another male. A woman cannot pass infront of some men without being naked with the eyes of those wolves. But on the other side there are women that feel if a man does not comment to her about her sexuality she is loosing something. Some women encourage these perverts to continue disrespecting other women.
