Cop assigned to G.G. cleans G.G. Wife’s account
The bank account of the governor general’s wife has been pilfered and the suspected perpetrator is the GG’s former driver, Police Corporal Rayon Martinez. According to seventy-eight year old Lady Norma Young, on December fifth, her daughter alerted her to a series of ATM withdrawals from her Scotiabank account. While doing her own inquiry into the missing money, Young remembered that the last time she used her ATM Card was on July twenty-eighth, 2011 when PC Martinez assisted her with a withdrawal at the Belmopan Branch of Scotiabank. She could not find the ATM card since that day and during the period of August twelfth to December second, 2011 twelve unauthorized withdrawals were made. A total of seven thousand, four hundred and fifty dollars were stolen from Young. Police searched PC Martinez’ Toyota Four-runner, where they found Young’s ATM card. Martinez was arrested and charged on Tuesday with twelve counts of Theft. He was arraigned at the Belmopan Magistrate’s Court where he was offered and met bail. The matter has been adjourned until March thirtieth. The Ministry of Police Press Officer expressed in his release today that the department has zero tolerance on crime especially from within its ranks.

I guess she gave him her pin number, not even my wife knows mine although her name is on the account too.
Look through the bank’s ATM security cameras – time when the withdrawal was made, person doing the withdrawal, account number of the withdrawal, etc. Just a little investigation might very well crack this case.
As I recall, one of the suspects in the big drug plane seizure on the Southern Highway a couple years back was another driver for the GG!
GG needs to do background checks on these people, or pay them more, so they are not “forced into a life of crime!”

All of a sudden the Police Press Officer is talking about having zero tolerance for crime especially from within it’s ranks.He wasn’t singing thesame song when they found the young man Martinez dead in his cell a couple days ago.
IF THEY CAN STEAL FROM HER…imagine what they would do to the rest of us!!!
