Beaten to Death by Corozal Tomb
The third murder victim was viciously beaten to death in Corozal Town over the weekend. Jose Caal’s body was found dumped early Sunday morning in a cemetery and the injuries on his face were clear signs of a homicide. While it is not yet known why Caal met his death and in such a cruel way, police are now looking for the man he was last seen with on Saturday night. The investigation is still in its early stages but today Deputy O.C. of the Corozal Police, Assistant Superintendent James Moreira, told News Five via phone what the suspected murder weapon has been recovered.

“Around six-thirty a.m. on Sunday eighteenth March, police responded to information and they visited the Mount Calvary Cemetery in the Finca Solana Area, Corozal Town, where the lifeless body of a Hispanic male person identified as Jose Manuel Caal, thirty-five years Guatemalan Construction Worker of 5th Avenue, Corozal Town, was seen lying face down in a ditch between two tombs, with injuries to the face and right side of the head. Our initial investigation reveal that Caal was last seen alive around eleven-thirty p.m. when he left a establishment in the area in the company of a Hispanic male person.”

Meanwhile, Corozal police have made an arrest in the murder of taxi driver Fernando Cowo, who was brutally stabbed to death inside his vehicle in the San Andres area on February eleventh. On Saturday, twenty-five year old Henry Lima of Corozal Town was arrested and charged for Murder.
Every murderer hanged is a necessary step to making the Jewel a more decent place to live for the God-fearing, law-abiding people.
This is the second victim that got murder near this bar someone should investigate the owners or the prostitutes that work there. The bar name is LA REYNA DEL NORTE. We are tired of this type of bars all over Belize. What happen to human traficking? Maybe, nothing is done because the police are one of the best custumers. Just drive around late at night and you will see them park there for hours. And i dont think taking a report. The chairlady gives license to this type of bars left and right with out consideration of the people around.
Corozal Town has become a haven for crime. Citizens are mugged daily on the streets, many burglaries also, drugs are sold and consumed openly and at many bars, strong-rum drunks have taken over the parks and defacate in public, prostitutes everywhere, public intoxicated youths breaking bottles and causing other vandalism, it has become a Sodom & Gomorrah.
The police are incompetent and were probably drinking at another bar while this man was murdered outside the bar next door to a cemetary.
The Corozal Liquor Licence Board and Corozal Town Board does not care about Corozalenos living in peace. They issue liquor licences without consultation or concern. The noise pollution is unbearable as open air bars blast their music until 2,3 or 4am. Sound proof is not enforced. Controlling the underage drinking is not enforced. Corozal needs help.
It is true. Open air Bars in Corozal are playing loud music and having dances until 4am while the sound proof nightclubs go broke. Naturally everyone prefers going to an open air dance but it is not right because there are sound proof laws in Belize.
Also the nightclub owners of Corozal Town have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars soundproofing their establishment while the open air bars spent only a little since they only have a zink roof and no walls.
This is not right for the soundproof nightclub owners in Corozal Town and the rest of Belize.
Please Channel 5 come to Corozal Town unannounced on a payday weekend and do a report.
Please Mr Barrow and Minister of Local Government Help Us.
The Corozal Liquor Licence Board and Town Board –>Do Not Care.<—

Police and thieves in the streets. Liqour and prostitutes taking away our families. We need to have some control in the sale of liqour, but instead we advertise and sell liqour like it was food and does good to the body. Many unwanted children and broken families and murders and fights and the list can go on and on is caused by this demons – Liqour, rum, death juice, cane juice, the oil, the beverage and the amount of names goes on – just like satan, devil, serpent, and the list goes on. We need to find a better way of entertaining ourselves and put away that poison and dedicated ourselves to our wife and kids. Wise up Belizeans!!!
What is going on in Belize?isn’t save anymore I hope it doesn’t becomes like Mexico
