Changes in the Ministry of Tourism
More changes are expected in the Ministry of Tourism. From what we gather, a decision is yet to be taken in respect of who is to replace outgoing C.E.O., Lindsay Garbutt. Tracy Panton, a former Director of Tourism, is a favorite of the Minister, but a possible appointment will have to be decided by the PM, who leaves Belize on Sunday. There are also two more vacancies advertised today; the Director of Marketing who is Yanic Dalhouse is to be replaced and the B.T.B. is also looking to fill the post of tourism director that was left vacant when Seleni Matus resigned. There is also word that the B.T.B. board will be revamped.

I mean the BTB can not be a bigger joke than it already is under the UDPers.
Lets put the George Street Gang in charge of the BTB. Tourists are already getting robbed, raped and murdered in Belize under the UDP BTB.
Lets put some professionals from George Street running the Belize Tourism Board so these tourists really get the UDP welcome to the jewel hit.

WE are trying to move the Ministry in the right direction – if you dont have a suggestion to the solution then its best you keep your mouth shut!!!!!
But the biggest joke must be the appointment of Penner as Minister of Immigration. Guess all immigrants can go to Immigration Dpt and have half of your fees paid by the minister and receive your citizenship the same week. What a big joke. Just another dodo bird cabinet!! Who bex, bex!!
The elections are over!!!!! …. Can we move on and give constructive criticism, in regards to the problems the nation of Belize face??? With all the name calling, you all sound worse than children. I agree the UDP government can WITHOUT A DOUBT, DO BETTER. But, they are in power again, the peoples’ voice was heard, Mr. Barrow is our Prime Minister again. When PUP was in power for what seemed like FOREVER, people had a lot of complaints too, that is why they lost to the UDP. People still not content, then do something about it. Start another party with sincere efforts to make a positive change, etc….. Stressing and venting negatively will not change what already IS!!
I honestly believe that consideration should be given to Tracy Panton and Anthony Mahler….regarless of political affiliation. Both of these individuals were magnificient at that ministry.
Plse consider Cordel Hyde to, cause Mark Espat done in charge of the negotiations with the superbond. UDP just nuh have smart people>….simple as dat.
