3 roommates go to jail for illegal firearms and ammo
A young couple and their friend, who live together on T-Street, are going to prison together for illegal firearm and ammunition found at their house. Kent Rose, his girlfriend Emily Garcia and friend Stacey Humes were all arrested after police found a nine millimeter pistol and a point three fifty-seven magnum loaded with three live rounds inside their home on August seventeenth, 2011.
Their trial concluded before Chief Magistrate Ann Marie Smith today. All three were convicted of Keeping a Prohibited Firearm, Keeping Prohibited Ammunition and Keeping a Firearm without a Gun License. They were sentenced to five years in prison for each charge, but the sentences are to run concurrently. During trial, they all denied knowing that the weapons were in the house. But after the testimonies of the arresting Officer, Delwin Casimiro Sergeant Cordel Augustine of the Gang Suppression Unit who was present at the time of the bust, Chief Magistrate Smith was convinced by the evidence presented against them.
Were is the probly cause for the search. It’s not fair to lock up innocent people.
