Husband found guilty of punching wife in face
The second convicted man is going to jail for a much shorter term. Thirty-two year old Nicholas Gonzalez was found guilty of Harm and Damage to Property. Gonzalez, a resident of Dickenson Street was arrested and charged following an incident on April sixteenth, in which he abused his common-law-wife, Andolita Wiltshire. According to Wiltshire, she was at home teaching her four year old daughter to write, when Gonzalez arrived at the house. They got into an argument, during which he punched her in the face. Gonzalez started kicking Wiltshire in the abdomen then threw on the bed and choked her, causing bruises to her neck. After the incident, Wiltshire had to seek medical attention at the K.H.M.H. where a doctor classified her injuries as harm. In court today, he pleaded guilty and was asked by Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer why she shouldn’t send him to jail. He replied that he didn’t want to go to jail because he has a daughter, but the Senor Magistrate noted that’s exactly why he should have thought twice before beating a woman. She sentenced him to a year in prison for Harm and six months for damage he did to Wiltshire’s passport after the altercation.
HERE IS ANOTHER ONE THAT COULD BE USEFUL on THE PRISON FARM.
HE must be with UNIBAM to be punching women in the face.
It’s in the culture, and the upbringing of Belizean men to hit their women if they misbehaved.
This culture creates and condone a vicious circle of Domestic abuse that has nothing to do with the perpetrator
losing control, but everything to do with the perpetrator intentionally trying to control another person.
The circle must be broken.
@ Earl Grey…you’re a jackass…I believe women would be far safer with UNIBAM sympathizers than with machista bigots like you!!
anybody ever do that to my sister he would not even make it to court alive
