19 year old charged for shooting Wesley student
A Wesley Junior College student was shot while walking home from school on the night of April sixteenth. The shooting is believed to have occurred because twenty year old Anthony Leslie defended himself and fellow student, twenty-five year old Karen Flores, during an armed holdup. Today, a nineteen year old unemployed man was read five counts in connection with the incident. Lloyd Leslie Junior appeared unrepresented before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer and was charged with Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Dangerous Harm upon Anthony as well as two counts of Attempted Robbery. Bail was denied and Lloyd was remanded to the Central Prison until June seventh. Anthony reported to police that he and Flores were walking in the Yarborough area and had just passed the basketball court when they were approached by two armed men on separate bicycles. According to Anthony, one of the men demanded that he hand over his cell phone, but he struggled with the robber and was shot once on the lower right side of the back. He was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where he has been receiving treatment for his injuries.
Can you imagine in Belize we all know each other or some family to relative. In this case it is Leslie robbing and shooting Leslie. I say hang them. Things hard enough for us to waste taxpayer money on keeping these hoodlums alive. Lets use the taxes for something more productive.
bring back the corporal punishment and you will see things change why because people will not want to be hang. and to top it off give them a curfew take away there freedom we live in the twenty first century but from the looks of things we need to go back to the olden days
