A Belize City mother came to us in December 2011, desperately seeking assistance because her ex-boyfriend, a senior police officer, had been harassing her since they broke up. Following that story, a restraining order granted to Crystal Allen was amended from two feet to a hundred feet of protection. But she claims that hasn’t stopped the stalking; in fact, Allen says it has gotten worse. More recently, she had to call the cops because her ex was following her while she drove in the city. Allen came back to News Five with the hopes that her story might catch the attention of higher authorities who may be able to help her.

“It has gotten worse. I have lost confidence in the Police Department. This is a senior officer I am complaining about. I would go and make statements and he would go behind and basically have access to my statements. And I know people are going behind my back and telling him my statements. So there’s no confidentiality in the Police Department. There was an incident on the fifteenth of February where this person who has allegedly killed somebody was following me. I had called police because of the relationship he has with the person I have this protection order against and police pulled over the vehicle. At the point when I walked up to the vehicle I saw that the person I have this protection order against was in the back of the vehicle sitting down. The vehicle was following me and I went to make a complaint about it. I check up the stats on it and they said the file is at the D.P.P. and nothing happened since. He said in court if another incident happened like that—for example because the police pulled them over—somebody will get shot. Nobody didn’t tell him about his statement. So at this point I’m lost to say well I have a protection order and if I call police then, for him to say that statement, well where’s my protection?”

“It’s funny because he varied the order from an order that was made in 2010. I went to states for two weeks and he maliciously dragged me to family court for full custody under no grounds. He’s basically saying that I neglected my baby but I left the baby with my mom and paid my mom weekly for staying with the child. So the order was made that he could have access to her on his day off. You have a man here that is abusing the system because he has rights to my child and that doesn’t make it fair. And all of this, I don’t know if it’s because of his position but it needs to stop. It needs to stop and I need to call it out and bring it to everybody’s attention what’s going on.”
Allen says she had made a complaint to the Ombudsman, but soon after that her contract was not renewed so Allen has not had a follow up.
If harm comes to this young woman then her blood will be on the hands of the entire police force of Belize for failing to protect her. Why is this guy allowed to break the law like this?
This is clearly a demonstration of the members of the Belize police behaving like they are above the law. He is allowed to terrorised this young lady. A man should always have access to his children, but in this particular case where he is clearly displaying some psychological problems, I think all visits should be supervised. Usually these guys aren’t interest in the child anyway, it’s a game and to get closer to the woman. He clearly can’t cope with the rejection. Man-up and grow a pair of balls.

You know the question is what is the grounds of him seeing his child? Is it fair, does he get half the time? If not, why the hell not. Most of the time woman uses a child to get to a man, woman scorned, they cry wolf in public. At first I was feeling concern for her, but now I am wondering how much of what she is saying is true. I know what it’s like for a woman to use a child and run to the law and cry victim to spite a man. If you are leaving the country, why can you not leave the child with his/her father. Why do you have to leave him with your mother? Did asked him if he can take the child? Give him a chance to say no. With the clear treachery of women, you have to wonder. Is she really keeping the child from her father and why? Is this the real problem, and not that he wants her? Really… Not all woman that cry victim are victims, most of them are the problem.

There are ALWAYS Two/More sides to a story NOT ONLY ONE!!! This is only one side of the storey you are being given by this “so called victim”. I know this young lady personally because we are still friends up to now & she used to live on Kelly Street. She had multiple simultaneous relationships with many men causing many families & homes to break up due to her permiscuous affairs with both Married & Single (mostly old & young) men. She is claiming all sorts of scenarios and harrassment and death threats by this senior police officer. She is not painting the entire picture to the country/world. All her raving reviews and sensationalizm began last year when the baby father caught her at BACAB in the arms of an Old Married Rich White man who has many investments especially at the Tourist Village. This “innocent” young lady was being unfaithful while they were still a couple (Her Baby Daddy and Her) and that was when the father of the child decided to walk away and move on with his life without her. Ask her about “that incident” in her next interview because I’m sure there will be many other so called claims she will create and will be going to the media for sympathy. You don’t really know her but I do. This man I know as well and he is not like what she is claiming. So don’t believe only what is being fed to you (evaluate what you are seeing & hearing). I know him also and He is one man that I know that takes care of his responsibilities (his children if nothing else). She is ALL ABOUT FAME, GLAMOUR, MONEY & WHAT’s in it FOR HER!!!!!!!!

I know the police cuz I am a police too and this is a fact, this man is crazy and this young girl give him something that he can’t handle and make him trip when she left him. He no want da baby he’s jus using her to get to her mother but because of this restraining order he’s getting more crazy. It’s hard in the department when one police wants to their job and the others wants to condone this senior officer.

I’ve seen these two individuals together and it’s a pity they couldnt work it out, they looked good together but at the end of the day he needs to stop abusing his power, he has a a lot of resources that he’s clearly abusing to get to her. I went back to view the December 19, 2011 Channel 5 script when she came on the news.I’m trying to understand, what made the relationship go sour?What is the reason why she had to get a protection order?Is this officer a violent person?If not, what is she afraid of?In March, I heard her call in on Love FM saying that her baby father wants to kill her, is that true?Did she make a report?The protection order is out from December, what has transpired between then and now?Is she just trying to destroy this officer’s reputation?I see no basis.Also, if the man is paying his maintenance money of $40 a week ($160.00 monthly),why can’t he have access to see his child and have to go to the courts for help?$40 is a Hefty Sum because most women is getting a meager $25 or $30 Dollars a week and the MAJORITY – None at all. So she should be happy.It seems as if this woman is the one who is using the child to harass this man for money.Many women would wish to see just a dollar in their account.Most men doesn’t want to even own up, acknowledge or maintain their own child.Don’t you think he should be congratulated for wanting to be a part of his kid’s life.What will happen to his other kids, that he has?Does she want Lions Share?Why wasn’t the child left with the father for the two weeks when she went to the states?Why did he take her to court for custody then?Something must have happen that she doesn’t want the public to know about.What is she not saying?

Dear Belize PC, if you did well at the initial training at Police Training School you would get a higher salary too, just like the officer. He never got there by sitting down on his a** not doing anything. He had to work for it just like anyone else and he earned his Pay Check Fair and Square.He graduated with Honors and came out with some of his best team mates, amongst the top within his class. Nothing was handed down to him for free. If you apply yourself there just might be a chance that you can earn more as well. So don’t question other people’s accomplishment, empower yourself with showing the initiative that you can do it too.So don’t be jealous, it’s never too late to teach an old dogs new tricks.

From the picture above this girl appears to be between 22 to 25 years. Lets presume she is sexually active at 16 that’s an average of just over 2 men per year. How long does a single relationship last or she is sleeping with more than one man at the same time. You do the math, that definitely sounds like damaged goods.
If he is running around with 10 woman as mentioned and a son in the police department, I presumed that he’s 40 something at minimum. That average 1 woman to every 4 years.
I see no significance whose car he is driving. At least he is driving because many of us have to walk. That has nothing to do with the real issue. Why did she go to the family court and the media.

Can anyone remember when a police had shot another police at queen street police station, well it’s this same officer, the same wife he use to beat was leaving him when he being a rejected fool wanted to kill himself so he end up shooting another police. What should b calculated is the amount of times this man beat up his woman them, it’s her body she do what she want with it….. Do I smell jealousy or envy. With humbliest expression, I personally grew up with the Officers daugther, I met her once after our highschool time, i know that she was not any saint ,none of us are,but your information posted is out of line with facts, though she did things she never took “drugs” , I felt the need to comment on ringmaster comment, that girl truthfully admires ms. allen, infact she has absolutely nothing negative to say about her, she felt that thats her father and ms. allen personal issue, and she chose to stay out tthe situation, i think its unfair for what ms.allen is experiencing, but the oldest daugther is by far the most sincere person in all of this. I dont think u should make reference to her past, and i dont think anyone should make reference to anyone’s past..those were all things that can be said as “use to”. what matters, people make decisions and change their lifestyle, even ms.allen should not be judged based on her past. People change, Ms. Allen is not a bad person, and so is the officers daugther, people grow up , and realize that they want to make a change in their life be happy for them. Don’t be mean. I personally will defend crystal with my life and I have since she has been going thru this back in 2010 the only mistake she made was to go back in a relationship with this man after what all she has been thru. Crystal wud be the first to say what kind of person she is it’s not like she has no shame but she is real and people might not like her for that. I don’t know this man daughter but I heard a lot so it’s unfair for people to want to talk about crystal so negatively when this man has sister, niece and daughter do really don’t throw stones . The comments (after confuse mother including childhood friends) is words spoken by the above complainant in this segment are factitious, and a mere last resort to maliciously slander the officer in questions character; It’s a mere attempt to act on her frustrations and to try to salvage her notorious reputation (whatever is left of it) that is only nothing short of any positive recognition in Belize. Fisherman won’t say his fish is stink. He and in this case, she will just want to sell her product wherever she can and at whatever cost to generate money. Unless she changes her revolting and nausiating ways she cannot reclaim her innocence. Listen and disect what was said and we all can tell who is trying all so very hard to convince the public to believe her. Sad that this officer had gotten involved with such a fiasco.
I have analyzed the comments listed above and can decipher The authors in the majority of the above comment [trying to destroy this officer’s reputation and by extension attacking his family] all written by the same writer miss allen. And it’s a damn shame and disgrace that she’s attempting to butcher this officer’s entire family and then in a final attempt to redeem herself creating “childhood friend”, all this could have been resolved amiably in a calm and rational and civil manner. However, The damage has been done and lives and reputation has been senselessly ruined, which could have been settled like sociable human beings. The real issue is the child and allowing the father to have a part in the baby’s life. Unfortunately, I understand that the above party is not an individual that is approachable and frequently hurls, vulgar and profane words without reasoning or without hesitation or thinking. May this all be over soon and all or both parties can go on with there lives and who wants to live in a make believe world, pretending to be a victim and live wreckless using their body as a tool to manipulate men, LET THEM!!!!!!!! One advice to the officer is to never look back on such scorn, shame and disgrace and sail straight ahead. (Don’t be like Lot’s Wife nor like Sodom and Gamorrah). Whatever she has said has no substance & she’s searching for an audience that has seen through her Trail of Deception. So don’t waste anymore time with her frivolous attacks. She has not succeeded nor will she prevail.

The Realist man said, in his comment “she jus mite change her name so not to associate herself to u…”, I believe he’s referring to the baby and disassociating herself from the dad. That won’t change the fact that the officer is the father, that cannot be done as the father is still alive. And if that is done the father need not maintain the child. However, I am anticipating that the name will be changed to the unknown (when someone is unable to sign their name or does not know, or is uncertain of their roots/origin they make their mark with the letter “X”.) Is this the same so called acting baby father, that a “Former Friend” commented on saying: “the old bushy head man who always wear camouflage that drives the Mercedes…” because I saw both of them shopping at Publics Supermarket northern highway, they were shopping just around Easter.
