Road work will be labor intensive

John Woods

According to Woods, the project will employ a number of residents living in the Cayo District.

John Woods, Cisco Construction Ltd.

“The big thing about this job is it is very labor intensive so we should be able to put an awful lot of people in the area to work and that’s always gratifying because the money, instead of going into fuel or equipment, goes into people’s pockets so they can feed their kids and have a better life.  So I think this will be a win-win project, I think it’s certainly going to be the bypass in San Ignacio as it grows is more and more necessary and the fact of putting people to work at this time, I think, is very, very special.  So we’re grateful to have won the contract.  We’re grateful to have won it by a large amount of money.  We were quite a bit lower than anybody else so we’re saving the country money and we’re grateful to be involved in this, putting people to work.”

Did Mr. Woods meant he paid a large bribe for officials to say that their bid was the lowest? “we are grateful to have won it by a large amount of money” My friend is still waiting for the cut he was promised for over bidding to make the work seems more expensive than it really is. when will mr. barrow start to make his minister accountable for their action? When will Belizeans start to take to the streets and protest the grave corruption in Government??? How is it possible that a man who was unable to pay his mortgage…have so many land and houses, and have his kids driving the latest model SUV s that is so wrong!!!! What do he have over his prime minister so that he is moved from one lucrative ministry to a more lucrative one, even though it is common knowledge that he was running a racket in the previous ministry??????
