Taxi-man forced his ex on a cab ride

It appears that a relationship gone sour has landed a Belize City taxi-man before the Court on two criminal charges. Rhea Pennill reported to police that her ex-boyfriend, forty-one year old Willward Pinto, attempted to kidnap her around three-thirty Monday evening. Today, Pinto was charged with Aggravated Assault and Wounding upon Pennill. Pinto appeared before Magistrate Sherigne Rodriguez, pleaded not guilty to both charges and was offered bail in the sum of five thousand dollars. Pennill claims that Pinto forced her into his taxi but she jumped out of his moving vehicle and managed to escape. As a result, she sustained injuries, which a doctor classified as wounding. Pinto’s next court date is set for June twentieth.
What a poor lovesick fool. When he gets out of jail, I hope he understands you can’t force a woman to love you. And life is too short to waste time trying [and paying for the effort in jail].
But the good news is, if you move on, the next romance is always better than the last one. [And that is coming from an old croak who is none too handsome! If I can find a good woman, anyone can — if he tries.]
This does not cease to amaze me that psychos do exist in Belize..move on with your life man!
