B.T.B. gains new members to its ranks
We reported on May sixteenth that Laura Esquivel Frampton was moving up as Director of Tourism. The Belize Tourism Board today issued a release, officially announcing that Frampton, who was the Director of Quality Assurance for four years, is now the Acting Director of Tourism. Her achievements in the tourism industry include the launch of an intensive Customer Service course, upgraded standards for tour guides, a Pro Chef Training Program, new Horse and Buggy Regulations, which were passed in 2009 as well as the Fort George Tourism Zone Statutory Instrument which was signed in 2010. Another appointment was announced by the B.T.B.; Alyssa Carnegie is the new Director of Marketing and Industry Relations. Carnegie is currently the Director of the Government Press Office, and as the B.T.B.’s Marketing Director, she will be tasked with implementing marketing strategies, which will focus on online and trade relations.
One more UDP Scamp to raid the coffers of BTB and waste the taxpayers money on stupid unproffesional ideas.
Another UDP replacement. Tourists are afraid of Belize, even with the new director. Reaping the taxpayers money and no work done.
