Humana People to People burglarized by inhumane
Humana People to People is an international movement that assists children and families in need. In Belize, one of its initiatives is a used clothing store on King Street, which raises funds for the cause. But sometime between Saturday and Tuesday, the store was broken into and cleaned out by thieves. The Manager, thirty-one year old Carminia De La Fuente discovered and reported the burglary. Bales of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing were stolen as well as household and other items. The total loss amounted to approximately thirteen thousand, four hundred and ninety dollars. Needless to say, the Humana clothing store was closed today.
A more heartless crime than usual, even for the Jewel.
