Croc lounges in residential neighborhood
While our news crew was covering the city murders and shootings on Monday, they drove past North Creek on the South Side near Meggs Vehicle Repair Shop. Across the canal were two homes separated by a zinc fence. Below the fence a crocodile basked in the sunlight with its mouth agape. It showed no fear of the public residents or the passing public. It would have appeared to be a typical day at the beach, except that it was a croc sunbathing on the canal front.

Crocodiles have been removed from the endangered species list. Shoot the sucker and feed the poor. We have too many of those predators roaming in our residential neighborhoods. At least put them to good use.
Really? I didn’t know they were removed from the endangered list. This one can feed over a 100 homeless person or starving kid!
KILL THE CROC AND FEED THE CHILDREN!!!
no !
better idea: KILL ALL THE GANGSTERS AND FEED THE CROCS !
The Belize River used to have very few crocs ten years ago. I paddled down the river a few weeks ago, and counted 14 crocs in one mile. I was fishing at night, and the with the spot light it is easy to see the eyes while they float on the water.
this could be another market for making money, hunt them down and sell them.their right in our backyards.
@ wayne – i hate to admit it but i like that idea the most!! lol
Did anyone notice the pile of garbage the croc was lounging on? And this on World Environment Day, no less! What a joke!
looks like someone put the carpet out for him.
Kill all crocodiles… eww. They are dangerous and do nothing good.. Yes they are part of the food chain but belize can do without them..
