House burns; custodian was out all night buying food
An early morning fire destroyed portions of the upper flat of a concrete house in the city. Fire officials were called out to Barrack Road where they saw the top floor of an unoccupied house engulfed in flames. The owner of the house, Yi Quiang Guan, who is out of the country, is said to have left the property in the care of his brother-in-law, Chont Tian Chi. Chi; along with a watchman, Jose Cadiz, were the custodians of the property. However, both men reported that they were out socializing on Thursday night. Cadiz said that he returned home around mid-night, but went out to buy food at around two and upon his return around six a.m., he found firemen extinguishing the fire. While the cause of the fire hasn’t been determined, it has been established that the fire started in one of the bedrooms on the top floor. Nothing was insured.

Wow, a 4 hour food run in the wee hours of the morning! Does that sound suspicious to you?
I’m thinking their pay should be docked for the burning time.
