Late evening murder of shopkeeper in Ladyville
Another Chinese grocer is dead tonight following a vicious attack at his business in Ladyville. Kenny Deng, proprietor of E-Buy Supermarket, was shot and killed during an armed robbery this evening. Shortly after five o’clock, Deng, who was inside his store on Crab Catcher Street, was shot in the head by a gunman whom it is believed, attempted to holdup the store. It is unclear at this time how many shots were fired. Residents say that a mortally wounded Deng was rushed to Belize City for emergency medical treatment but succumbed to his injury shortly thereafter. When News Five arrived at the scene moments later, Ladyville police had already cordoned off the vicinity. An investigation is underway and we’ll have more about this evening’s murder in Friday’s newscast.
Another murder of an innocent hard working man while the pm of the country is on vacation again for the 15 time this year is this a pm who cares about the country is this a pm who cares about the people of Belize I say hell no he has been and still is a total failure at his job and he needs to go along with the rest of his corrupt gov. I hope police can solve this — maybe there is a video. I know if I ran a store, I would definitely have cameras in and around it.
If police solve it, I hope DPP can win the case.
And I hope the killers swing by the neck.
All Belizeans need to work together to help the police to secure the Jewel.

I use to work up in ladyville a month back. I just went for a little vacation and all this madness is going on. I will return to Belize soon ,i feel like I need to do my part instead of commetning .

Of all this conversation here, I do think that the grovernment need to come up to a point and say enough of these violance, it never do any good for the image of Belize, but the funny thing is that our PM and set up a meeting with them, and for my personal oppinion that for the gang mamber for doing random shoot and harm those innocents that consider as terrorism, and any people that pratice gang activety or gang related should be lock down, and if they fight back then police should just shoot them
