Unemployment highest rate since 1998

The government missed the Superbond payment today. That bad news is accompanied by even more depressing news. The Statistical Institute of Belize’s recent survey regarding employment levels in the country shows that unemployment is at its highest in over a decade and that unemployment is highest among women. The survey involved close to ten thousand respondents, two-thirds were of working age (fourteen years and over) and of that amount, sixty-five point six percent were either working or available to work. The remaining thirty-four point four percent were housewives, students and retirees who were no longer interested in working, and were therefore regarded as not being in the labor force. The survey also found that, “Of the respondents who were of working age, three thousand five hundred and eighty-three persons were classified as employed and five hundred and ninety-eight as unemployed, yielding a national unemployment rate of fourteen point four percent. The female unemployment rate, twenty-two point three percent, continued to be more than twice the male unemployment rate; nine point one percent. According to Statistical Institute of Belize records, these are the highest unemployment rates that Belize has experienced since April 1998.”

We utilized five scientific statistical techniques with a + or -2 deviation which qualified experts will conclude that the unemployment rate is 34 percent . Yes, Belizeans 34% not the politically sensitized heresy SIB is propagandizing. And scientifically we only used 200 persons in our sample from all political parties , religions, workplace and worksites, male/female, ethnicities. So please Belizeans, recognize propaganda for what it is.

This is a serious matter. Unemployment will fracture any society, and Belizeans are no exception. Additionally, we have a second problem. Americanization.

Americanization is that whaich causes a Belizean to lose his/her identity and glorifies everything America. There are several examples of Americanization in these blogs. For example, there is an old fart that goes by the pseudo of “Stone” . That idiot suffers from Americanization.

If unemployment keeps its upward trend here in Belize, we need to seriously think about globalizing our drug trade. Colombians and Mexicans would gladly help us. Think about the easy, new money. Belize’s unemployment would be cured. We could use the Amercanization idiots as drug mules. We already have the killings, so that would not be new. Think about it!

Religion taught me, that money is the root of all evil………… wrong! Lack of money is the root of all evil. If you do not believe me, ask the Vatican.

Hold onto your seats, we’re in for a rocky decline after the default! Next year we will look back on this report fondly, wishing we had “only” 14.4% unemployment.

The default will cause money to leave Belizean banks, investors to stay away, and people will be less willing to accept Belizean dollars, so that it will be devalued and your savings will be worth less.

With the economic hurricane coming down on us, it is more important than ever to close the borders to illegal entrants who want to work here. We will have fewer jobs for homegrown Belizeans.

    Sad days.

    Thanks to the Superbond!

Unemployment high in Belize??? Wake up Belizeans, stop blaming the Belize Government. If someone would really want to work, they can easily find a job especially in Belize! Many Central American people come to Belize and without speaking English, they find a job and start working. Yes salary might be low but come on, we have to survive someway or the other. We cannot depend on the GOB or blame others for not having a job. Work, and stop being lazy!!!

Actually, the Bible says that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Still true today. Too bad it doesn’t do you any good when you die.
