Teen’s successful delivery of triplets at the K.H.M.H.

While the commission is about to release its statistics, the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital sent out a press release today reminding the public about one of its most cherished records, that is the birth record of course. Since January 2012 K.H.M.H. has recorded nine hundred and eighty-five births. Of those, there were twelve sets of twins and two sets of triplets. The first set of triplets, two girls and a boy, were born on January twenty-ninth and on August twenty-fourth the second set was born. Doctor Rafael Cardinez, a member of Cuban brigade was assisted by Doctor Mirna Ancona, for the delivery by cesarean section.  News Five was on hand for the delivery of a generous gift to the family.

Triplets, identified as baby boy one, two and three, were born at the K.H.M.H. on Friday, August twenty-fourth. The first at 8:38 p.m. weight four point five-eight pounds, the other two, five minutes later weighed at three point seven-six and five point zero-three pounds. The K.H.M.H. had been carefully monitoring the case.

“We have seen her before because of threat of premature labor and this time, she came and we couldn’t stop labor so we had to continue and perform the C-section.”

Marion Ali, Love FM

“And that took how long more or less?”

Dr. Jose Guerra

“It takes about twenty minutes—twenty to half an hour.”

Jose Sanchez

“What is the health of the three children?”

Dr. Jose Guerra

“Both, the three of them are okay. They are three males between three and five pounds.”

Marion Ali

“I understand that they are underweight, what is the prognosis for a healthy future?”

Dr. Jose Guerra

“After thirty four weeks, they are okay. They just a little bit premature but they are doing good.”

A social partner of the K.H.M.H., the Santiago Castillo Group was ready to assist the newborn band of brothers.

“Santiago Castillo congratulates the parents; it’s triplets again Jose and of course we are here to present them with some gifts which I know they will need and they will use. We have something in there for the babies and for mommy. We have premie diapers—I think we are the only ones that bring that in—and we have new born diapers for the others because it is three boys but one of them is just under three pounds, the other is five pounds and I believe the other is four pounds. We also have ovaltine; the mother will need that to revitalize herself after having triplets. So we are just here to do a presentation to them; a case of active set diaper and a case of Huggies wipes as well.”

The grandmother of the triplets spoke off-camera.

Voice of: Grandmother of Triplets

“I feel glad about my grandbabies them. Before dehn born, I mi feel glad and happy for my grandbabies because it was the second set of triplets in my family. I know it’s not easy to find, but God provides and he will provide. The family have already has some, but whomsoever want to contact me at 205-5572. So I just want to thank the lord and the Holy Spirit weh ih do for my babies them.”

Jose Sanchez

“How long has your daughter been in labor? Have they told you about the weight, the health of your grandchildren?”

Voice of: Grandmother of Triplets

“Well the same day she had labor, the same day she come here and the same night she get over, after nine. And it was very active and very good.”

Jose Sanchez

“I know some people watching this story home may be wondering why we aren’t seeing your daughter or you?”

Voice of: Grandmother of Triplets

“She’s at home right now resting. She had; everyday she comes here, she feed her babies and goes back. right now her foot swollen and she is resting home right now.”

Jose Sanchez

“But there is some issue because we can’t even show your face.”

Voice of: Grandmother of Triplets

“No kinda issues.”

Jose Sanchez

“What’s the frequency of triplets at the hospital?”

Dr. Jose Guerra

“For this year, they have been the second set.”

Jose Sanchez

“And regularly, what’s the average per year?”

Dr. Jose Guerra

“I think with the last one we had, about three years ago, we had three in the same year and the three of them were from San Pedro. Now this one is Belizean, sixteen years old.”

The donation for the teen and her toddlers will be for a year. Reporting for News Five, Jose Sanchez.

Congratulations are in place for the mum and grandmother very joyful event. However, the mother is a kid herself only 16 years old and a life changing event for her. hmmm

I wish they had interviewed the father, too.

Congratulations on your delivery, but at the same time sad to know that you didn’t have time to experience Teen Life & w/3 in your life it is Astonding. Hope God’s eyes will be on you to teach these boys an upright life. The father should be sent to prison for having sex with a minor.

  4. raul guevara says:

Instead of giving her pampers and ovaltine, they should give her a box of condoms or better yet a tie-0ff.

  5. Mel says:

It is wonderful to have babies when you are financially stable and able to provide for them . Congrats to them! BUT must it be to a teen? This is just wrong and now society has to raise 3 children and hopefully the family will be able to provide for them. I hope the mom learns a lesson and hope she completes her education and gets a job so she can be responsible for these kids.

  6. anonymous says:

I believe that was a gift from God, and this happened for a reason. I am proud and happy for her. Please don’t judge her and the guy because we all don’t really know what is the situation. May God bless her and the family
