Girl, 14 years old shot in Belize’s bullet city

Fourteen year old Desiree Aranda, the high school student who was shot in the lower back by a stray bullet is now at home recuperating. On Thursday evening around five-forty five, Aranda was having dinner inside her house, when multiple shots were fired on Lacroix Boulevard; one of the shots penetrated the walls of her house and hit her. The girl was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery last night. The teenager was released and is now at home. Three men on bikes were at the corner of Park and La Croix when one of the them pulled out a gun and opened fire. The gunfire was aimed at Kinsley Morrison and Kimberly Michael, but instead two bullets hit Desiree. Three men are in police custody in connection with this shooting. In recent weeks there have been frequent shootings reported in the La Croix Boulevard area, so much so that residents told News Five, that they are fearful even inside their homes. Aranda’s shooting is not an isolated case; two weeks ago, eleven year old Carlene Pinto and her eighteen year old brother, Tyrone Pinto, were shot while sleeping inside their home on Supaul Street. Stray bullets have also claimed the lives of eight year old Eyannie Nunez and eleven year old Daniel Matura; while seven year old Janay Moguel was seriously injured two years ago.

And the deaths of innocent people and children continue unabated with no reprieve insight This pm and gov. Is not only incompetent and impotent but also complicit on all these murders and shootings because nothing has been done about this situation for 4 years now well people its not working four years is more than enough time given to this pm and gov and things are only getting worse. I have figured out why this gov. Has refused to bring back the hanging penalty and it’s because they are afraid to because perhaps one of their family members might be accused of murder .now only the Spanish are going to jail and for the simplistic crimes while blacks are being let go even for murder am telling you the bigot barrow has and agenda and it is to show unu non blacks that they are running things even if it is running things into the ground.

I think creoles are guilty of treating PM Barrow with some degree of affirmative action. I heard and saw creole men and women on “2 cents cam” last week said they gave Barrow a grade of 10 out of 10 . now that is my only conclusion, that they are so enamored that an AfroBelizean is the PM that they are willing to live in filth and squalor, accept the crime and rape and murder and still give the PM a grade of 10 on his job appraisal. AMAZING psyche. different story here in the US>
