Belize CitCo Multicultural Fair on Monday with Lova Boy

Dion Leslie

This weekend it will be no work and all play Belizean style. The celebrations for the tenth will culminate with the annual road march on Saturday but the fun won’t end there. On Monday, which is the public and bank holiday, the Belize City Council will be staging the seventh annual multicultural fair and tenth Bram. Councilor Dion Leslie and the headliner for the fair, Lova Boy, stopped by News Five to invite the public out to the MCC Grounds for the tenth.

Dion Leslie, Councilor, Belize City Council

“As you walk in to the fair, exactly to your right, you have the food court where they have every type of food made in the country of Belize; so you name it, it will be there. We invite you over. So under the food court we’ll have the one and only Ernesto Babb along with Tony Wright playing; they do a show within a show every year. So that’s always something to look forward to. There will be a bar with soft drinks and not so soft drinks and everything in between. And of course, we’ll have something for the kids; games, mechanical rides, bouncing castle, trampoline, everything. We try to create a fun free environment for the family across the board. The highlight is the concert every year and this year no difference. Of course we have Poots the Titi Man; Chico Ramos; Tap Rick; Supa G and of course, headlining the show is the one and only award winning recording artist and entrepreneur, Lova Boy, the Prince of Belize.”

The show kicks off at eleven on Monday morning and ends at nine in the night. Councilor Leslie says that there will be maximum security at the grounds.
