Marsha Bood gets bail for attempted murder
Thirty-two year old Marsha Bood has several charges pending in court, but today she was released from the Central Prison on bail of four thousand dollars. Bood appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann Marie Smith this morning for the bail hearing on charges of Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Grievous Harm. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on November twenty-ninth, 2011 in which she allegedly stabbed twenty-four year old Alexia Olivera on the back. Olivera was able to name her attacker when she spoke to police from her hospital bed, but when they to Bood’s Antelope Street house, she was nowhere to be found. Almost seven months later, on June sixth of this year, she was arrested for allegedly setting her ex-boyfriend, Godfrey Dougal’s apartment on fire in May, 2010. That’s when charges for Olivera’s injuries as well as for the Arson were levied. Prior to her arrest earlier this year, Bood was also charged with Damage to Property for a previous fire at Dougal’s apartment, in which she claims a lit candle fell on the bed during an argument. She had to pay one thousand dollars of her bail in cash today and is to return to court on October thirtieth.
Angry, black and bitter.
Why should the law be any less savage than this beast?
Wow, what a dangerous, out of control person!
If you see her on the street, walk the other way!
If she is convicted, I hope she spends the rest of her life locked up. She seems too dangerous to live among peaceful folks.
Thirty two? She looks fifty two. I guess doing evil things make you look old. She will go back to jail after she kills someone.
