Aurelio Martinez and Paul Nabor joins artists tribute to Andy Palacio

Andy Palacio, the legendary artist continues to be celebrated in Belize. Friends of the artist want to continue keeping his memory alive through music. Over the weekend, a tribute concert will be held in his honor and a number of musical greats will be on stage performing; one such artist is Aurelio Martinez.

“It is a special event, not a commercial event, a cultural event. It’s talking about Andy Palacio; it’s a tribute to my good friend, my first friend from Belize. So I am trying to do something around his life because he led a good example to all of Belize and all of Central America. He is a good example to Belizean children to follow. I am here and I brought my whole band from Honduras. I believe that Garifuna Collectives will come and Paul Nabor; we all come together to play a tribute to Andy Palacio.   I invite all Belizean (Spanish & Garifuna) so all Belizean should be at Bliss this Saturday.”

The event kicks off at seven on Saturday night at the Bliss.  Entrance fee is thirty-five dollars.
