Bert Vasquez has been in and out of the San Ignacio Magistrate’s Court for a slew of charges—up to thirteen offences against female minors in the West, including the Murder of Jasmine Lowe. But Vasquez has prior charges of a sexual nature before the Belize City Courts. Back in February of this year, Magistrate Hettie Mae Stewart committed Vasquez to stand trial at the Supreme Court for the Forcible Abduction of a sixteen year old minor. The minor alleged that shortly after eight o’clock on May thirteenth, 2011, she was waiting for a bus by the Pound Yard Bridge Area when she was accosted by Vasquez with a point thirty-eight pistol. She claims that Vasquez then forced her into a tinted vehicle and took her to the Vista Del Mar Area of Ladyville where he sexually assaulted her and hit her in the face with his gun; injuring her nose. Well today, an unrepresented Vasquez was taken before Justice Troadio Gonzalez. News Five sneaked a comment from Vasquez as he was being escorted in handcuffs to the holding cell before being taken back to Central Prison.

The case was adjourned to November fifteenth. Vasquez is also accused of the murder of thirteen year old Jasmine Lowe back in June. He has since also been charged in the San Ignacio Magistrate Court for eleven counts of common assault, one count of aggravated assault and one count of forcible abduction against young girls in the Twin Towns in the West.
Vasquez is still alive? We’re still paying to protect and feed him? WHY?
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire! Too many cases brought up against this sicko for him to claim innocence. This character deserves everything coming to him. Let’s hope the police can manage to get there story and charges in line and our weak DPP can get a prosecution.

i don’t understand how the other prisoner are laughing & having a good time with that rapist next to them. Anytime I would be close to him it would be straight buss-up face & kicks for him. I guess the whole nation wants him to be hanged but unfortunately that does not depend only on the courts decision. we must first liberate the laws or a rather say we must detach ourselves from englands law and then we can start hanging criminals……
