Honduran National to be deported for illegal entry to Belize

A nineteen year old mother of two, who illegally entered Belize five months ago has been caught and is now facing deportation. Honduran national, Yuri Estefanie Dubon, was picked up during routine checks by Immigration Personnel at the Belize City Bus Terminal on Wednesday morning. She appeared in Magistrates Court today where she was deemed a prohibited immigrant. Dubon told a sad tale of her hard life and how she has relatives in Belize, including her mother, who want nothing to do with her. After her emotional address to the court, she reluctantly pleaded guilty and was fined one thousand dollars to be paid immediately or she will spend three months in prison, before being deported. Up to four-thirty this evening, Dubon was unable to pay the fine and has been taken to the Belize Central Prison. The young mother entered Belize on May fourteenth via the banks of the Mopan River in Benque. She was with her cousin, Cyndey Leiva, who is married to a Belizean and had documents to prove her legal status. Dubon, however, could not and she was taken into custody. While she is now in jail, her two children are in Honduras.
Only the Spanish get deported what about all the illegal Haitians Nigerians Jamaicans they never get deported pure racism in reverse.
WELL DEPORT ALL THOSE ILEGALS ENTERING BZE BECAUSE IF U GO TO THEIR COUNTRY THEY’LL DEPORT U TOO OR KILL U BETTER…
Maybe this story seems a hard one, but GOB must enforce our immigration laws fully and consistently. If people know in Guatemala and Honduras that they WILL be caught and deported, maybe they will not try to enter in the first place.

It’s sad that we can deport single mothers feeding their kids but have no interest in solving murders. Lets deal with the bigger problems first and then work out way down to immigration, littering and parking ticket issues.
